On the surface, you’d think Cory Woodward is too young to be writing the songs he does. He shouldn’t have felt the pain he’s felt; his voice shouldn’t be as worn. No, not at his age. But with his gruff voice and familiar song structure, he seems to have been around for years and destined for hyperbole-filled comparisons to Waits and Springsteen.

At the forefront of Canada’s growing dance scene is Luke Fair. He’s performed at some of the most prestigious venues and events in the world, offering club goers a taste of his funky/techy eclectic house sound each and every weekend. His sets include everything from groovy house and techno to funky progressive and electro. Constantly re-editing tracks to customize his sets, Luke’s ongoing desire to make every set stand out from the others is very evident.
Over the past few years, Luke has garnered attention for his extremely diverse and genre-crossing studio efforts. From dubbed-out house to melodic progressive, his tracks have been played by DJs from all across the dance music spectrum. Everyone from Sasha to David Morales and The Plump DJs, all have included Luke’s production in their sets, and global DJ icon Pete Tong has featured numerous Luke Fair productions on his world famous BBC Radio 1 ‘Essential Selection’ show.

Through a real-time exchange of musical form, language, and ideas, Tyger Dhula, Mathew Jonson, and Danuel Tate provide a continual sense of surprise and discovery for their listeners.
The influence each member has on the group sound contributes to the international success Cobblestone Jazz continues to receive. Tyger Dhula’s history as a DJ and producer of electronic music provides the necessary stylistic foundations that form the backdrop for the group’s improvisations. His ability to break grooves up into their key elements holds the music firmly within electronic music traditions. With over a decade of experience behind the decks and a life-long passion for music, Jared Simms and Voytek Korab have come together to create My Favorite Robot, a tag-team DJ-ing venture. This collaboration brings to the decks a unique mix of minimal tek and electro. Born of the Montreal club scene in the 90s, Simmz and Voytek became fast friends and the synergy was unmistakable. Immersed in a city with a dynamic underground culture they were exposed to a wide variety of sounds that gave them perfect framework.
