It&#039;s good to get some real feedback about the artists I&#039;ve profiled.  Personally, I&#039;ve only seen The ElastoCitizens on YouTube and in the context of their website.  I guess I&#039;ll have to see them live to get a real impression.  I agree with you though - in general, there&#039;s a very fine line between good, soulful funk and unimaginative, cookie cutter funk.

		<description>i saw these dudes live... they kinda blow. it&#039;s way too over the top, cheesy, and try-hard. yeah sure they are high energy and peppy... but they seriously lack any originality. it seems like they are just ripping off old school funk and making it... well... lame.</description>
